Care is where a Life Path of 6 is read as most itself in this tradition, and nowhere more than with children: a parent who notices what a child needs before being asked, and who measures a good day partly by whether everyone else's needs were actually met. This describes a pattern the tradition reads into a parent's own temperament, not a claim about how a child turns out. Responsibility, care, standards and the wellbeing of others are the tradition's seed words for this number. In a household, they suggest a parent who takes on the unglamorous, unnoticed work of raising a child almost by instinct, and who holds a genuinely high standard for how a household should run. That describes a tendency in the tradition's reading, not a real parent or a real child.

A 6 tends, in this reading, to anticipate a child's need before it is voiced, and to treat teaching a child something properly as more important than teaching it quickly. The tradition treats being the only adult a child, or a whole household, seems to depend on as the condition most likely to leave this number quietly worn down.

What comes easily: noticing what needs doing before being asked, and holding a standard of care that a child can genuinely count on. What's harder: asking for help with any of it, or handing part of the load to someone else even when that would actually make things easier. Day to day: the tradition names over-responsibility as the friction here, taking on more of the work of raising a child than was ever formally asked, and finding it hard to hand any of it back.
